Northside kids classes are aimed at developing the fundamental skills of life in a fun and enjoyable working environment. The classes are aimed at developing: lateral thinking, communication, teamwork, confidence, leadership, and coordination while promoting a healthy lifestyle through exercise.
Our kid’s classes are very similar to our adult classes, learning the basics of the fundamental movements and providing the opportunity for skill development.
Classes develop coordination, flexibility, power, strength, agility and fitness.
Allowing kids who haven’t found their sports yet to find their strengths alongside kids who have excelled in multiple sports in an appropriately competitive environment.
Our Kids classes are appropriate for kids age 6-14 and at different skill levels, teaching the children that fitness is fun!
An example class would be a 10 minute dynamic warm up focusing on skills, followed by a short workout developing strength of those skills e.g.
“7 min AMRAP (as many rounds as possible)”
3 ring rows
Followed by a group cool down and stretch.
Session times hear at Crossfit Northside
will be 45 minutes in duration and all children must have a towel, enclosed footwear, sun hat and water bottle.
$15 per session per child or $20 per week direct debit
Families of 2 or more children $30 per week, flat rate, direct debit.
